The Palace in Buk
The Palace in Buk situated in the small village of Buk Kamieński, the commune of Przybiernów, in the picturesque scenery of Puszcza Goleniowska, the Palace is in a distance of about 80 km from Szczecin and 250 km from Berlin. This late Renaissance palace with adjacent contemporary modern hotel lies in the nineteenth-century park, among dignified oak and beech trees, lindens and original sculptures of outstanding Polish and German artists.
The nearness of nature combined with peace and quiet is conducive to both relaxation and creative work. The renovated interior of the palace offers ideal conditions for organizing conferences and training. It serves for artists and creators as the place of open air exhibitions, presentations and workshops, giving also an occasion to establish the relations between Polish and German youth.
Since 1990 the Palace has been the property of the Pomeranian Library. It performs the function of a storage library, training centre, and the place of Polish-German meetings.
